UCIN Aluminium is an independent company founded by José María Ucín in 1967. Over the years, the company has gone through different stages, starting with the manufacture of aluminium tubes and profiles. In 1974, it moved to its present location, where the complete aluminium processing cycle is carried out on an area of 60,000 m2.
From smelting, hot and cold rolling, tension levelling, and cutting, to the manufacture of the different finished aluminium products. The coil width has also varied over the years, starting with a 500 mm coil in its early stages before moving to 1000 mm and then up to the current 1250 mm.

José María Ucín founds the company JOSÉ MARÍA UCÍN S.A. – Business is started with an extrusion company.
1967
Activity moved to current 60,000 m2 location – Start of welded aluminium manufacturing.
1974
Acquisition of a new complete line for the manufacture of 1000 mm rolled aluminium.
1986
Acquisition of a cold rolling mill to increase production capacity to a width of 1,250 mm.
2002
Installation of new furnaces that increase capacity for the recovery and valorisation of aluminium raw materials.
2014
Commercial presence in more than 30 countries, with sales exceeding 35,000 tonnes.
2020
2020
EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certifications for the manufacture of aluminium products, and for the manufacture of aluminium products for construction.
2023
Construction of a new photovoltaic generation system for self-consumption. Installation and process integration of new tension leveller line.
